About the race
The Auchterarder 10K Chilli Trail Race takes place in Auchterarder on 31 October 2026. Organised by Five Star Events, the event uses a trail route that leaves the town and climbs into the foothills of the Ochil Hills. The course follows a mix of surfaces and includes forest trails, steady climbs and descents, and a couple of stream crossings; the mapped route is said to resemble the shape of a chilli pepper. There is no event cut off, so participants may run, jog or walk the course.
Entry is online only and limited to the event capacity of 650 places; online entries close on 24 October or when the race limit is reached. The entry fee is listed as £26 until 24 October 2026. Runners must be at least 16 years old on race day. Headphones are not permitted on the course except for bone conduction devices.
All entrants must register in person to collect their race number and timing chip and will be subject to ID checks; personal details should be written on the back of the race number. Unsecured baggage storage is available at registration and the start/finish area but the organisers do not accept responsibility for stored items. A race safety briefing will be issued by email the week before the event. All finishers receive a snood and a bespoke 2026 Chilli Trail Race medal.
