Balloch Castle Country Park hosts a measured, chip timed running event offering the following distances:

Entries are handled through the booking partner Let's Do This and participants need an account to complete registration. Confirmation emails are sent on registration and further race day information is emailed the week of the run.
Race bibs and timing chips are collected at the registration desk on event day; the registration desk typically opens about one and a half hours before the event. The timing chip is attached to the race bib and must be secured to an outer garment for correct operation. The event provides hydration stations, km markers, course marshals, instructor led warm up, event music, finishers medals, and goody bags with sports nutrition items. Race day photos will be available online and are free to view after the event.
Age and safety rules follow Scottish Athletics guidance: 5k runners should be 11 or older and 10k runners should be above 15. Cut off times are typically 1.5 hours for 5k and 10k and 3 hours for half marathons. Dogs are not permitted. Standard headphones are not allowed; bone conduction headphones are permitted.
