Oli Kai
The Oli Kai event by Bad Beard Events is a trail loop format held at Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The course for all formats is a 2.1-mile loop with about 190 feet of elevation gain per lap on trails within the arboretum’s 317-acre property.
Participants choose how they use their allotted time on course. The event offers timed formats in which runners or walkers complete as many loops as they wish within the time limit. An event aid station will be available, and participants may set up their own support in the start/finish area.
Available formats:
- 3 hours
- 6 hours
- 9 hours
For the 2026 edition the event partners with Wild Trails. Camping is available on Friday and Saturday nights, and the weekend program includes a campfire concert, food, and an optional Sunday program presented with Wild Trails featuring a 5K and a half marathon called Oli Via, followed by a post-event breakfast.
Administrative notes from the organizer: packet pickup happens early at Mean Jeens and at the start/finish location on race weekend; registration is online only with no walk-up entries; there are no refunds and race numbers may not be transferred. A portion of proceeds supports Reflection Riding Arboretum and Nature Center. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
