About the race
The Shizaru Challenge Day 2 is scheduled for Sunday, 10 October 2027 near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth. The event is a timed road event that uses a Turn Up Get Going (TUGG) system: participants may start whenever they arrive but must finish within the permitted event time.
The event is a seven hour timed event on an accurately measured road course. Each lap is 5.3 km out-and-back along a scenic, old disused train line and is run entirely on tarmac. The route is described as undulating. Participants may complete from one up to fourteen laps within the permitted time.
Practical details: the event limit is 75 entrants and the minimum age is 18 years. Entries close on 09/10/2027. Entry categories and fees are listed as affiliated £32.00, unattached £34.00, affiliated no perks £21.00, and unattached no perks £23.00. A medal is provided to finishers. If the event reaches capacity, later entrants will receive a bespoke medal chosen from those available on the day.
