About the race
The 2027 Austin Spartan Event Weekend takes place May 15-16, 2027 at Reveille Peak Ranch near Burnet, Texas. The venue includes more than 62 miles of mapped terrain that runs through Texas Hill Country features such as fields of wildflowers and cacti, dry creek beds, rolling hills, exposed granite and granite outcrops. Runners encounter red dirt trails and rocky granite slabs as part of the obstacle course layout. The weekend program includes multiple event formats and age groups.
The Sprint listing shows a 5 km course with 20 obstacles and an average recorded duration of about 1 hour 32 minutes. The schedule also features a Super distance, kids races, a 12 hour Hurricane Heat endurance event, and spectator access. The weekend also includes a Spartan Trail Race.
