Autumn Harvest Trail Weekend - Bastrop
Autumn Harvest Trail Weekend takes place October 10 to 11 2026 at Lake Bastrop South Shore Park in Bastrop Texas. The weekend features multiple trail events across two days that use the North-South Trailway, Gideon Loop, Loblolly Loop, Swift Trail, and connecting single-track sections.
Distances offered include:
- 50K full trail ultra
- Marathon (26.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 20-Miler
- 10-Miler
- 10K
- 5-Miler
- 5K
- Backyard Ultra events including a Last Runner Standing and a ruck division
The Big Bastrop Backyard Ultra runs on a 4.16-mile loop that must be completed within each hour for the loop to count. Runners return to the start/finish aid area every loop. Headlamps are required for night running. A redemption option on the smaller Loblolly Loop exists for runners dropped from the main backyard field; redemption runners begin on the hourly bell and compete under the same hour-by-hour format.
Long-distance courses have aid stations approximately every 2.5 miles; the backyard ultra notes aid roughly every 2.1 miles. Courses are marked with high-visibility trail markers. Race entries include a custom finisher medal, race shirt if registered by the stated deadline, chip timing, stocked aid stations, medical support, and race photography.
