Ashridge Boundary Run
The Ashridge Boundary Run is an annual trail race that follows the boundary trail around the Ashridge Estate. In 2027 the course is run in a clockwise direction along well marked paths. The route covers approximately 17.5 miles over varied trail and off road terrain.
The event is held with the permission of the National Trust and a donation from each entry fee will be made. The organisers also support local causes, including the Aldbury Community Defibrillator Project, and will donate to other charities.
Runners receive water in cups during the race and every entrant will receive a finisher gift. Prizes are awarded to the top male and top female finishers. Results and photos are posted on the event website after the race.
Entries are handled via resultsbase.net and Results Base charge a small administration fee. Advance entry fees are listed as £23.50 for unaffiliated runners and £22.50 for affiliated runners. Race numbers are available for collection on the day from 8.30am onwards, and on the day entries are accepted only if the race is not full.
In periods of bad weather the organisers may put route changes in place or, in the worst case, cancel the event. In the event of cancellation refunds cannot be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
