About the race
Art In Motion 10K/5K/2K is a charity running event held on October 18, 2026 at Boyd Conservation Area in Vaughan, Ontario. The event is Athletics Ontario certified and offers on-site and virtual participation.
Distances:
- 10K Trail Run scenic trail course with hydration stations near 3.5K and 7K
- 5K Trail Run run or walk through Boyd Conservation Area with a hydration station near 3K
- 2K Family Run/Walk short course for families and children
- Virtual Race complete a chosen distance remotely and submit proof for race items
The event supports SickKids Foundation and the Dr. Bonnie Cameron Post-Secondary Scholarship for students living with arthritis. Race services include chip timing for the 10K and 5K, finisher medals for all participants, free professional race photos, complimentary post-race massage, pancake breakfast and finish-line refreshments. Free parking, shuttle service and a bag check are provided for participants; bag check and shuttle arrangements are available for the 10K start and finish logistics. Race kit pickup is scheduled on October 16 and October 17 at designated locations, with additional pickup at McMichael Canadian Art Collection and Boyd Conservation Area on race day. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each 5K and 10K race. Fundraising tiers include a partial refund option and a VIP experience for higher fundraising totals.
