- 10 km : entrants age 12 years and older.
- 10 mile : longer multi terrain route, entrants age 17 years and older.
- Canicross : separate dog running wave with specific requirements.
Entry is by pre registration only and closes the day before the event. There are no entries on the day. Any changes to race entries must be made before registration closes. All 5 km entrants under 11 years must be accompanied on the route by a responsible adult who holds their own entry.
Routes are undulating and hilly with varied underfoot conditions. Runners may encounter overhanging trees, mud, holes and ruts from farm equipment. A single road crossing is present at the start and finish; marshals guide road crossings. The course is marked with kilometre markers, tape, signs, flags and marshals. Organisers may remove participants who do not follow marshal directions.
Canicross and running with dogs: owners must hold public liability insurance for their dog, carry bags to collect waste, provide water for the dog and use appropriate harnesses and bungee leads. Dogs will not be allowed to run if the effective temperature at race time is at or above 18 degrees Celsius. No refunds are offered if a runner chooses not to run without their dog in those circumstances.
Facilities include toilets, first aid at the finish and on course, cupless water stations so runners should bring a cup or water bottle, post race refreshments for purchase, and medals and prizes for finishers. Parking is in the cricket club parking area as directed by marshals; vehicles should not be driven onto the cricket pitch. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
