American River Endurance Run

The American River event on Saturday, April 3, 2027 includes a main 50 mile endurance run plus two shorter distance races in the same scenic corridor. The organizer partners with the City of Folsom for the start area and hospitality. Each race finishes in Auburn.

The course experience includes music, motivational quote signs, staffed aid stations, and volunteers along the route. The event provides information for crew support, pacers, and drop bags. Official finishers of the 50 mile receive a Finisher's Athleisure Lightweight Pull Over Embroidered Hoody, and finishers of all races receive a classic AR medallion. After the races there are post race festivities with food, desserts, and beverages. The presenting sponsor is Altra, and the event relies on sponsors and volunteers to stage the races.
