Achmony Hill Race
The Achmony Hill Race is a short, sharp hill event held on 22 August 2026 as part of the afternoon programme of the Glenurquhart Highland Games in Drumnadrochit. The course is approximately 3.5 miles long with about 700 feet of ascent and begins and finishes at the games field arena.
Much of the route can be seen from the games field, allowing spectators to follow participants at several points. The course returns to the arena where runners are received with a highland welcome. The event is organised by Glenurquhart Highland Games and takes place at the Games Field in Drumnadrochit, postcode IV63 6XA.
