Ultra X Scotland
Ultra X Scotland takes place over two days in the Scottish Highlands, centred on the Loch Ness area. The event is scheduled for 1–2 May 2027 and is based around Inverness with several different start locations depending on distance.
Available race distances include:
- 100 miles
- 110 km
- 60 km
- 50 km
- 25 km
- Dash event reported as 12 to 16 km
The 100 mile event starts in Inverness. The single and multi-stage 110 km events, the 50 km, the 25 km and the Dash start in Dores. The 60 km starts in Fort Augustus. Aid stations are fully stocked and located at approximately every 10 km.
Camping is included for 100 mile, 110 km and multi-stage participants. Entrants in the 60 km and 50 km events can purchase a camp pass at check-out. A full Race Pack with detailed information, timings and cut-offs will be emailed to registered participants one month before the event.
Event ratings provided are Difficulty 2 of 6 and Technicality 2 of 5. Expected temperatures are listed as 6 to 18°C. The event also forms part of the Great British Slam, which recognises finishers of three specified Ultra X ultra-distance events within a calendar year; entrants must finish each race within its cut-off times to be eligible.
