Abominable Trail Race
The Abominable Trail Race takes place on November 14, 2026 at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures in Lake Geneva, WI. The event offers multiple individual distances and team relay options on forest trails with hills and a well-marked course.

- 30K relay teams (2, 3, or 4 person)
Course and aid stations: the 5K loop has one water station near the halfway point. The 10K loop has two water stations spaced about every 1.5 to 2 miles. The 15K route is the 10K loop plus the 5K loop. The 30K is three laps of the 10K loop. There is a water station at the finish and a tent for multi-lap racers to leave bags.
Participant services: all participants receive an Abominable shirt, a finisher's medal, free action photos, professional chip timing, and a complimentary drink at the finish.
Team formats: the 30K relay is available for teams of 2, 3, or 4. Two-person teams each run a 10K and a 5K leg in the order provided by the organizer. Three-person teams each run one 10K leg. Four-person teams choose 5K or 10K legs when registering.
Logistics and extras: early packet pick-up is scheduled for November 13 at House of Music across from the venue. Parking is at House of Music for a cash fee of $10 per car. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each individual distance. A base camp area includes music, vendors, food trucks, and spectator access.
