Heart Lake 2027
5 Peaks Trail Running organizes an event at Heart Lake Conservation Park in Brampton on October 2, 2027. The conservation area takes its name from a spring-fed kettle lake that is roughly heart shaped. The course uses shaded trails that showcase fall colours.

The day includes onsite packet pick up, multiple start waves for Grit, hikers and power pacers, a 1K free kids start and a 3K kids run, Enduro and Sport waves, and an awards ceremony once results are final. Parking is free but limited at the Birchmount parking area near the Wild Wetland Splash and Pool; carpooling is recommended. Washrooms are available at the start and finish area. Spectators are welcome and best viewing is from the start and finish area.
For safety, the following are not allowed on the race course: dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles. The event is cup free; water and electrolyte drinks are available at the start and finish and at aid stations. Participants planning to be out longer than an hour should carry a receptacle for drinking. Swag and finisher medals can be pre-purchased and are not included in individual entry prices. Awards are given to the top three finishers by gender in each age and distance category and to the top three male and female overall. Course distances and maps may change based on trail conditions.
