5 Golden Rings Virtual Run
The 5 Golden Rings Virtual Run is part of the organiser's 12 Days of Christmas race series. For 2026 the event is only available virtually and can be completed anywhere in the world, with entrants given date flexibility around the published event days.
Participants choose one of the following distances:
- 5k two laps of 2.5k each
- 10k
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
- Ultra
Entrants have a seven hour time limit to complete their chosen distance. The series describes the on site course as off road within the grounds of Pengethley Manor with a hill on each lap and a sequence of ups and downs through two vineyards, though the 2026 edition is virtual.
Virtual entries receive a personalised virtual bib by email. Paid entrants receive the same type of medal as on site finishers once their run is verified; international postage costs are additional. There is a free option to join the organiser's Strava club for results listing without a medal, or proof can be submitted by photo of a GPS device. Entry fees for virtual entries are specified by the organiser and all payments are non refundable. A charity entry option is available with a reduced fee in exchange for a fundraising commitment.
