24 Hours of Palmer Lake
Held on September 25, 2027 in Palmer Lake, Colorado, this event is a 24 hour endurance race at 199 County Line Rd. The course is a 0.82 mile loop on the Palmer Divide, with an elevation of 7,240 feet and mountain surroundings.
The event is described as community driven and low fanfare. Participants can pursue different goals such as overall distance, personal distance records, or testing race nutrition and pacing.
Prizes include awards for the top three overall finishers by distance over the 24 hour period. The first ten runners to reach 100 miles or more within 24 hours will receive a buckle onsite; additional qualifiers will receive their buckle a few weeks after the event.
A portion of registration fees supports local parks: $5 from each registration will be donated to the Palmer Lake Parks Committee. The organizer’s policy states that refunds are not offered, but with at least a couple of weeks notice they will consider a credit toward the following year. Registration closes on Wed, Sep 22 at 11:59 PM MT. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
