Resolution Run/Walk - Bridgeway Station, Simpsonville, SC
Resolution Run/Walk is a timed event held on January 2, 2027 at Bridgeway Station in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The format offers three time windows so participants choose how long to be on the course: 3 hours, 6 hours, or 9 hours. All activity uses a scenic two mile loop and participants complete as many laps as their chosen window allows.
Lap counting is handled by organizers; participants mark progress by dropping a rock into a personal mug for every completed lap. The course returns regularly past the start area and nearby parking, so runners and walkers are never far from gear, snacks, or a decision to stop. There is one aid station on the loop providing water, Coke, ginger ale and a variety of snacks including pickles, cookies, chips, candy, Fig Newtons, pretzels and holiday leftovers. The event is cup less so participants should bring their own hydration vessel.
On-site amenities include free adjacent parking, bathrooms inside Bridgeway Station, packet pickup at the Pavilion in front of Bridgeway Brewing Co., complimentary professional photos, and a post-race gathering. Every finisher receives a custom medal; age group awards are given for 1st through 3rd in 15 age categories. The event features a Holiday Leftover Banquet where participants may bring and take dishes. Dogs and headphones are allowed. Group entries of five or more receive a $5 discount and refund.
