Middle Tyger Family YMCA Boo Run 5K & Mini Monster Mile Run
The Middle Tyger Family YMCA Boo Run 5K and Mini Monsters Mile Run take place at Southeastern Children’s Home, 115 Children’s Way, Duncan, SC, on October 31, 2026. The course is a cross country loop that includes grassy hills and paved roadway and features a mountain backdrop. Costumes are welcome.
Distances:
- Boo Run 5K : 3.1 Miles (Ages 11 and up)
- Mini Monsters Mile Run : 1 Mile (Ages 10 and under)
Registration details include an early bird period with guaranteed apparel or awards if entered by September 30, 2026: Boo Run early fee $25, regular fee $30; Mini Monsters early fee $5, regular fee $10. Registration opens August 28, 2026.
Following the 5K there is a trunk or treat at the same location with decorated trunks, candy, and games. Organizers encourage families, businesses, churches, organizations, and community groups to participate in trunk decorating. A community food donation station supporting the Carpenter’s Table will accept nonperishable items on site during the event. A coffee truck from Travelin’ Tom’s will be on site serving menu items during the event. YMCA of Greater Spartanburg members receive 10 YMCA360 points for completing the race.
