Trail Running calendar near Star Prairie 2026-2027

A roughly 40 mile winter survival race through St. Croix State Park near Hinckley, MN with ski, fat bike and foot divisions. Competitors carry essential survival gear and complete two on-course skill tests.

Vasaloppet USA is a two-day cross-country ski event in Mora, Minnesota on February 13 and 14, 2027. Races range from a Miniloppet to 51 km, snowmaking supports consistent conditions and fluorinated ski wax is banned.

An annual event at Arden Hills Army Training Site on April 17, 2027 featuring a 30K foot march plus 30K and 5K trail runs, with music, a business expo, and proceeds supporting veteran and military programs.

A Backyard Ultra at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, MN where runners complete a 4.167 mile loop each hour until one remains. The course circles Mud Lake with 296 feet of elevation change and is a Bronze Ticket qualifier.
