Trail Running calendar near Derby 2026-2027

The Canalathon Ultra will take place in Sowerby Bridge on Sunday 4 April 2027. You can run between 10 and 100 kilometers.

Normanby Hall Adventure Race on 4 April 2027 features 5 km and 10 km cross country courses with water, mud, sand, crawl nets and jumps. A bale jumpers event is provided for younger participants and Curly's Athletes organise the event.

A half marathon and 10k on the traffic free Monsal Trail in the Peak District on 10 and 11 April 2027, starting at Bakewell Station. The route follows a former railway through four tunnels and across Monsal viaduct.

A Star Wars 50th Anniversary weekend on 5 and 6 June 2027 at Caldecotte, Milton Keynes featuring marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake, unique finisher medals, on-course water and toilets, and time limits for each race.

Experience a 35.5 mile ultra marathon from Wigan to Tarporley as part of the Myths and Legends series. This single day challenge features a tracking supported route with bespoke medals for all finishers.
