June 2026

On 7 June 2026 the Rosebud Running Festival offers marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 5 km and a 1 km kids race on Bay Trail and nearby roads around Rosebud. The event has course markings, timing mats and a medal for every finisher.

July 2026

August 2026

Race 3 of the 2026 Trail Running Series is in Silvan in the Dandenong Ranges on Sunday 2 August. Courses of 7.2 km, 15 km and 22 km run through fern gullies and misty ridgelines and feature a handicap format.

A two-day Spartan obstacle weekend at Werribee Racecourse on Aug 8-9, 2026, featuring Sprint, Super, a Kids Race and a 4-hour Hurricane Heat. The fast, flat course includes the Chain Carry and Armer obstacles.

September 2026

Race against a historic steam train through the scenic Dandenong Ranges. This unique festival offers distances from 1.2 km to 13.5 km with a finish line celebration in Emerald Lake Park.

October 2026

A two day trail running and walking festival at Rokeby Recreation Reserve that raises funds for Aus Hair of the Dog Rescue Inc. Distances range from 2 km to 50 km and many categories allow dogs to run alongside participants.

A multi-distance trail running event near Melbourne on 17 October 2026, held in the Dandenong Ranges with races from 1.23 km to 46 km and the event village at Kalorama Memorial Reserve.

November 2026

Run through Marysville's scenic valley trails and forest tracks, passing rivers and the Steavenson Falls while supporting the local community. Distances span a fun kids 1.5 km dash up to a 100 km ultramarathon with options for every runner.

5K Foam Fest Melbourne is a 5 km obstacle and foam event at Event Central at Caribbean Park with 25 plus obstacles and a large foam zone. The festival offers a Kids Free Fun Zone, food vendors, a licensed beer garden and on-site showers.

True Grit Melbourne is a military inspired obstacle event at Wildwood Rock Enduro on 28 November 2026. It features timed Elite racing plus 5 km and 10 km courses across natural terrain with many built obstacles.

December 2026

A diminishing-time loop event at Woodlands Park on 13 December 2026 where runners repeat a 2.5km circuit. Distances range from 5k to an unlimited laps challenge and the event supports Living Legends and Canteen.
