Trail Running calendar near Wamboin 2025-2026

Experience scenic trail running at Stromlo Forest Park on 15 and 16 November 2025 with distances from a kids 2.5 km to a full marathon. Enjoy sweeping views of Canberra and the Brindabella ranges in a friendly festival atmosphere.

Kick off the year on trails at the New Year’s Resolution Run in Wamboin, with a 21.1 km half marathon and a 12 km route. Both courses dive into Kowen Forest single track with tough climbs including Mt Amungula for a scenic challenge.

Test your endurance at the Sri Chinmoy 48 Hour Track Race, the 2026 Australian 48 Hour Track National Championships, 20 to 22 March at AIS Athletics Track. Timed 6 to 48 hour and marathon events with on site support and lap timing.
