The ZombieRunner Halloween takes place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hellyer County Park (Buena Vista Pavilion), 985 Hellyer Ave, San Jose, CA 95111. Multiple distances are offered, including youth divisions and a free Kid's Run (50 yd dash). The Half Marathon and Marathon courses are USATF certified. There is a Halloween costume contest for participants who race in costume. T-shirts are given to pre-registered runners and all finishers receive a custom medal. Overall top three male and female finishers in each distance receive awards and race credits; top three in each age group and gender receive medals. Parking is $6 per vehicle. Marathon runners may leave a non-valuable drop bag at the Start/Finish. To guarantee a shirt, register at least 10 business days before the event. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Buena Vista Pavilion.

Course and logistics
The course is described as relatively flat, easy to follow, and will be marked with directional signage. Surface composition: 5K and 10K are 100% asphalt; Half Marathon and Marathon are about 98% asphalt and 2% single-track. Aid stations are fully stocked every 2 to 4 miles with fresh fruit, salty snacks, candy, water, and Skratch electrolyte drink; runners are advised to carry at least 20 oz of water between stations. Events are cupless; participants should bring their own fluid container. A limited number of Hydrapak SpeedCups will be available for sale at check-in. Headphones are permitted on dirt road sections only. No dogs are allowed on the course. Timing uses MyLaps Bibtags and results are published regularly. The marathon has a 7.5-hour time limit; all events share a 7.5-hour limit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
