The Zillertal Ibex Run is a challenging running competition that takes place in Ginzling-Dornauberg. The course covers 30 kilometers and 3,484 meters of elevation gain, with a gradient of 25 to 30 degrees. A particularly demanding section is the 3-kilometer ascent to the Mörchnerscharte at nearly 2900 meters altitude. The route passes through picturesque landscapes, past several alpine pastures and huts, and ends after a long descent in the valley floor at Schwemmalm.
