Zillertaler Steinbocklauf

The Zillertaler Steinbockmarsch is a challenging hiking event set in the picturesque Zillertal region, featuring a demanding course of 30 kilometers with an elevation gain of 3,484 meters. Participants will navigate steep inclines of 25 to 30 degrees, culminating in a significant ascent to the Mörchnerscharte at nearly 2,900 meters. The route begins at the Naturparkhaus in Ginzling and includes scenic stops at various huts and stations along the way. The event attracts both competitive and recreational hikers, culminating in a festive atmosphere at the finish line, where spectators cheer on the participants.
