The Yandina Five 'O' is a trail running event on Saturday 13 June 2026 in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. All races start and finish at Terella Brewing, 196 Bunya Road, North Arm. The courses run through Mapleton National Park and some private land and include creek crossings, a lookout and hilly terrain. Event parking is at 124 Lees Road, Bridges, with a courtesy bus to the start/finish area. There is no parking or drop off at Terella Brewing and no entries on the day.

All entries include an event shirt, a finisher's memento, parking and the courtesy bus. Minimum ages apply: 12 km - 12 years, 21 km - 15 years, 36 km - 18 years, 50 km - 18 years. All finishers receive an event memento. Cut-off for all races is 6 pm. No support crews or spectators are allowed on course; they are permitted at the start/finish only.

Course, safety and services

Course markings use reflective orange flagging tape (approximately every 250 m), red directional arrows and red crosses for wrong turns. Checkpoints 1, 2 and 3 provide water, electrolyte and small snacks. Disposable cups are not supplied; participants must carry their own cup. Drop bags are accepted only for the 50 km race at checkpoint 2 and must meet size and weight limits and be soft, closable bags.

Mandatory gear, refunds and transfers

Mandatory items include a mobile phone with emergency contacts, race bib worn on the front, a headlamp for 50 km runners, a compression bandage and minimum hydration capacities: 1.5 litres for 50 km, 1 litre for 36 km and 21 km, 500 ml for 12 km. Refunds up to 19 April 2026 incur a 15% admin charge; refunds after that date are limited to 50% and are not allowed after 13 May 2026. Transfers to another person are allowed until 30 May for a $50 fee; transfers to other events or deferrals to next year are not permitted.
