The Yandina Five 'O' is a trail running event on Saturday 13 June 2026 around Yandina on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Races start and finish at Terella Brewing, 196 Bunya Road, North Arm. Courses run through Mapleton National Park and some private land and include creek crossings, a lookout and hilly terrain. There are no entries on the day.

Minimum age limits apply: 12 km - 12 years; 21 km - 15 years; 36 km and 50 km - 18 years. All finishers receive an event memento and a special edition event t-shirt; entrants must specify shirt size when registering.

Logistics, safety and rules

Parking is at 124 Lees Road, Bridges, with a courtesy bus to the start/finish area; there is no parking or drop offs at Terella Brewing. Support crews and spectators are allowed only at the start/finish area; they are not permitted on the course.

Course marking uses reflective orange and silver flagging tape (approximately every 250 m), red directional arrows and red crosses to indicate wrong routes. The course may change because of bush fires, flooding or harvesting.

Mandatory gear includes a mobile phone with emergency contacts, a headlamp for 50 km competitors, a race bib, a compression bandage and adequate water capacity: minimum 1.5 litres for 50 km, 1 litre for 36 km and 21 km, and 500 ml for 12 km. Checkpoints 1, 2 and 3 provide water, electrolyte and small snacks. Drop bags are permitted for the 50 km race only and must meet size and weight limits and be soft-sided.
