XTERRA Conquer the Crater - Greater Sudbury, Ontario
XTERRA Conquer the Crater takes place July 18–19, 2026 at Kivi Park in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. The event is part of the XTERRA World Tour and the XTERRA Trail Run World Series and features off-road triathlon, duathlon and trail running events. One hundred percent of all proceeds from the event support the Northern Cancer Foundation’s Miles Against Cancer Fund for children and families affected by pediatric cancer in Northeastern Ontario.
Races on the program include:
- Full Distance Triathlon: SWIM 1.5K, BIKE 24K, RUN 9K
- Sprint Triathlon: SWIM 750M, BIKE 13K, RUN 4.5K
- Full Distance Duathlon: RUN 3.5K, BIKE 24K, RUN 9K
- Sprint Duathlon: RUN 2.5K, BIKE 13K, RUN 4.5K
- Marathon Trail Run: 42K
- Half Marathon Trail Run: 21K
- Trail Runs: 5K / 10K
- Youth Races: 1K / 3K / 5K
On-site activities are scheduled across the weekend, including a beer garden and music festival, a kids day and an XTERRA expo. Camping is available at Kivi Park (4472 Long Lake Road) on a first-come, first-served basis for the published fee of $20 per night; fires are not permitted and basic sanitation facilities are provided.
