XC des Boisés 2026

The 9th edition of XC des Boisés takes place in Notre-Dame-des-Prairies, near Joliette, on September 26, 2026. The event features forest courses on terrain described as fast and with little elevation change.

• 10 km

All profits are donated to the Fondation Charles-Bruneau. The event is organized by the non profit Azimut XC in collaboration with the Town of Notre-Dame-des-Prairies and is sanctioned by the Fédération Québécoise d’Athlétisme du Québec.

Team and fundraising options

• Team challenge for 4 to 8 runners; each team selects a single distance.
• Team ranking based on the four best times; individual ranking is also available.
• Team fundraising option includes creating a team fundraising page linked to the foundation.

Registration and services

• Discount available until May 31, 2026.
• 100 percent polyester t shirt included for registrations completed by August 25.
• No registration on the day of the event; registrations close the day before.
• Post race snack included.
• Bib pickup is scheduled the day before and on the day of the event.

Medals and participation

• Medals planned for various age categories across 10 km, 5 km and 2 km.
• Participation ribbon for all 2 km runners.

Parking and facilities

• Street parking nearby with volunteers on site.
• Carpooling encouraged.
• Portable toilets only.
• Bib required for participants.
