The Woolooma Classic Adventure Run
The Woolooma Classic Adventure Run is scheduled for September 12, 2026. The event covers a distance of 30.9 km with a total elevation gain of 1,423 m. The course uses mixed terrain including sealed and unsealed road, fire trails, river crossings, cattle grids and steep rocky road. Typical run duration is expected to be between 3 to 6 hours.
The event base is on Belltrees Road, Belltrees NSW 2337, with free onsite parking, toilets and water facilities. No camping is available. The halfway mark is Woolooma Glass House at the top of Mt Woolooma, where runners can access a bathroom and water. There are no other bathrooms on course.
All runners must carry a pre-prepared running backpack containing sun protection, a first aid kit with 10 bandaids, a bandage with tape and a whistle, a water bottle or bladder with at least 1 L capacity, and a communication device such as a phone or UHF. On-course checkpoints provide water refills and jelly lollies; single use cups will not be provided. Each checkpoint will have a volunteer, and on-course vehicles and a mobile trained medic will be available for assistance. Suggested equipment includes run poles and trail running shoes with good grip.
