Awards are also given to the first through third overall male and female finishers, as well as to the first through third place in 10-year age groups. Participants who register by April 17 are guaranteed a gender-specific Dri-Fit running shirt. All participants receive free pancakes provided by the local Masonic Lodge.

The race is part of the Wildflower Trails festival in downtown Linden, which includes vendors, live music, a car show, a quilt show, and other activities.
