Wild Gravel
Wild Gravel is a multi-discipline event held in Western Australia’s Stirling Range National Park (Koi Kyeunu-ruff). The program combines gravel riding, trail running and walking on courses that use quiet country roads, gravel tracks and firebreaks.
Several ride options include AusCycling sanctioned races. The sanctioned events are the 100 km and 150 km races and require a current AusCycling license or a purchased day license. Course formats vary from shorter social rides to long-distance competitions and supported endurance routes.
For 2026 the event adds the Untamed series and a new Ultra distance. The Ultra is a 420 km loop along the full Wild Gravel trail and is supported by Ultra Cycling WA. The Untamed routes include off-road, technical sections; one Untamed ride is subject to Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions approval and weather conditions, with entries transferred to the 100 km ride if that Untamed event is cancelled.
Event distances include:
- Ultra: 420 km
- Ride: 10 km, 30 km, 65 km, 100 km, 150 km
- Ride Untamed: 95 km
- Gravel Run: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, 42 km
- Gravel Run Untamed: 11 km, 21 km
- Walk: 5 km, 10 km
The event is presented as a mix of competitive races and recreational courses within the Stirling Range landscape. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
