Wilbur Wild Goose Chase is a family friendly 5K fun run in Wilbur, WA held during the Wild Bill Goose Days festivities. Participants may walk, run, or push a stroller. There is no course cut off time. The start and finish are located next to Wilbur City Hall.
The 5K course features a gradual incline on the way out and a downhill return to the finish. Most of the route is on pavement with a short section on packed gravel. A water station is provided at the turnaround point.
Bib pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 16 at Wilbur City Park from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. Day-of race pickup will be available in front of the city call from 6:15 to 7:45. Registration closes Wednesday, May 13 at 11:59 PM PT. Late online registration is open until May 15; in-person late registration is available Friday, May 16 or the morning of the race. Shirts will not be mailed and cannot be guaranteed for registrations after May 2, 2025.
Awards for the 5K include special awards to the top three in each age group and overall gender awards. The awards ceremony takes place after the parade in Wilbur Park near the stage.
Race rules prohibit skateboards, skates, bikes, and animals including dogs, goats, and cats on the course. Volunteer opportunities are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
