The Wilbur Wild Goose Chase is a family friendly 5K fun run in Wilbur, Washington. Participants may walk, run, or push a stroller; the event has no cutoff time. The start and finish are located next to Wilbur City Hall and the course is an out and back route with a gradual incline on the way out and a downhill return.

Most of the route is on pavement with a short section on packed gravel. A water station is provided at the turnaround point. Organizers will distribute race bibs the day before at Wilbur City Park and on race day in front of the city hall. There is an awards program for the 5K that includes special awards for the top three in each age group and overall gender awards; the awards ceremony takes place after the parade in Wilbur park near the stage.

Certain items are prohibited on course for safety and liability reasons: skateboards, skates, bikes, and animals including dogs, goats, and cats. Organizers note they cannot guarantee a race shirt for registrations made after May 2. The event runs alongside the community festivities of Wild Bill Goose Days.
