WHM Training Run 1

WHM Training Run 1 is a practice run held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Fountainhead Regional Park. The session uses the race course and departs from the park parking lot.

Distances offered:

• 6 miles
• 8 miles
• 10 miles
• 13 miles or longer

Entry is open but limited to 60 participants; anyone interested may attend, including men and those not entered in the main race. Participants must sign up in advance. The practice runs are informal and run at a relaxed pace. Light refreshments will be provided.

Medical and safety information: the organizing club does not provide medical care or medical personnel along the course, at aid stations, or at the finish. No medical supplies or drugs are supplied. Runners are responsible for their own health, safety, and emergency care. Events may be in remote areas and medical assistance could be distant in time or location.
