Format, logistics and policies
The 10K is run as a one-loop Marshak Mountain course and the 21K is two loops of the same course. The afternoon program includes the Ascent events and a roughly 1-mile kids ascent from the top of the gondola to the uphill finish. Entrants may register for individual races or the Vert Junky combo to double up.
Entry fee includes the event and a tee. Poles are allowed. Registration is listed as "coming soon" and race-day registration is not available; registration will close midweek before the race. The organizer does not offer refunds; registrations may be rolled to another entry if the organizer is notified no later than May 1. There are free, low-key group runs on local trails after the event; groups are limited, runs may last 2-4 hours, and participants are asked to bring hydration, nutrition, a wind/waterproof jacket, a headlamp and a way to carry them.
