Where the Fugowee?

Where the Fugowee is a team navigation event that begins at the Winner's Circle in Salisbury, MA. Participants are driven blindfolded about five to seven miles to an unknown location. After arriving, each team must determine where they are and return to the start by the shortest practical route. The first team to return wins.

Teams compete under cross country scoring and all team members count toward the score. A special team award will be presented this year. Blindfolded running is optional; teams may choose whether to run while blindfolded.

The event has equipment and conduct restrictions. No GPS devices, cell phones, iPods, iPads, phones, or watches are allowed. Participants must not run on Interstate 95 or Interstate 495. The organizer also disallows bringing bail money.

Registration is free. Registration opens April 11, 2026 and closes June 18, 2026. The listed distance for the event is 6 Miles. The address for the start location is 211 Elm St, Salisbury, MA 01952. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
