Warbird 100

Event Overview

The Warbird 100 is a long distance running event held in Hyden, Kentucky. The race features three distinct distances for participants to choose from:

• 100 miles
• 50 km
• Half Marathon

The event is organized by Trail Sick. The different distances follow specific route formats. The Half Marathon is designed as an out and back course where runners must collect a turnaround token at the halfway mark. The 50 km route is structured as a lollipop loop. This course connects with the 100 mile path, allowing participants in the 50 km distance to run the final 20 miles of the primary route.

The event schedule is spread across multiple days. While the 100 mile race begins on Friday, March 13, the 50 km and Half Marathon events take place the following morning. This timing allows participants in the shorter distances to see the finishers of the 100 mile race on the course. The race registration remains open until early March.
