Atlantic Coast Challenge

The Atlantic Coast Challenge is a three day coastal challenge on the South West Coast Path from near Padstow to Lands End. The 2026 dates are Friday 2 October to Sunday 4 October. Entrants may complete one, two or three days, covering up to 78.6 miles (approximately three marathons) across the event.

Distances:

  • Day One: 42.2 KM Nr Padstow to Perranporth
  • Day Two: 42.2 KM Perranporth to St Ives Bay Holiday Park
  • Day Three: 44.3 KM Lelant to Lands End

Event HQ is at St Ives Bay Holiday Park, TR27 5BH, based in the large conservatory next to the bar and Bay View cafe. Catering is available at the HQ and accommodation keys are collected from the park reception. Transport is provided each day between the HQ and the daily starts and finishes. Prices listed are £210 for three days and £75 for a single day; accommodation is not included.

Included for participants are a GPS tracker, event t-shirt, on course food and drink, checkpoint support, medical cover, minibuses for retired participants, bespoke finisher medal and a Cornish pasty at the final finish. Checkpoints are roughly every 10 KM and supply snacks, drinks and hot drinks at some points. Participants must carry the compulsory kit list issued by the organisers; the policy is enforced. Trail runs nearby

A 44 mile coastal ultra from Lizard Point to Land's End along the South West Coast Path. Held on 6 June 2026 with solo and relay options, severe terrain and roughly 5,531 ft of ascent.

A multi terrain race of about 10 km from Truro to St Clement and Malpas, featuring road, trail, track, hills and mud. It is the final race in the Cornish multi terrain series and includes individual and club prizes plus a keepsake.

A crewed, self navigation team event where five runners tackle 100 mile trail and coastal routes in Cornwall with a 36 hour limit. Entry costs £110 and participants must meet qualifying and kit requirements.

Evening coastal races in Perranporth on 11 July 2026 offering a 13.1 Miles half marathon and a 10.5 km long 10k. The event supports Cornwall Air Ambulance and includes GPS tracking, medals and free race photography.
