Village Creek 10K/25K Trail Run

The Village Creek 10k/25k Trail Run takes place on January 24, 2026, at Village Creek State Park near Wynne, Arkansas (201 CR 754). Two race distances are offered:

• 10K
• 25K

Registration closes on January 22 at 11:59 PM CT. There is no race day registration. The deadline to guarantee a hoodie or shirt is January 14, 2026. 10K participants receive a 10K shirt only. 25K participants receive a 25K hoodie only. Entries are nonrefundable; entries are not transferable to the following year but may be transferred to another person before 01/23/2025.

Course and logistics

Both races are out-and-back routes on the park multi-use trail system. The park covers nearly 7,000 acres with about 26 miles of trails on Crowley’s Ridge. The course includes creeks, muddy sections, leaves, sticks, steep ridgelines, and a rolling pipeline section. The start and finish are at the edge of the lower campground near park bath houses; nearby campground and cabins are available at the park. The 25K follows trail markers toward marker 20 for the turnaround; the 10K follows markers to its designated turnaround. The 25K has a six hour time limit and a bib-check cutoff at the turnaround at about 3 hours 15 minutes. Aid stations are placed at approximate halfway points. This is a cup-free race; participants must bring their own bottles. The finish includes buttercream icing and warm homemade cinnamon rolls.
