Village Creek 10K/25K Trail Run

Event

The Village Creek Trail Run takes place on January 24, 2026, at Village Creek State Park near Wynne, Arkansas. Distances offered include:

• 25K
• 10K

Registration closes January 22, 2026. There is no race day registration. The event has a no-refund policy. The deadline to guarantee a hoodie or shirt is January 14, 2026. 10K entrants will receive a 10K shirt only; 25K entrants will receive a 25K hoodie only.

Course and logistics

The 25K is an out-and-back route that starts at the bicycle entrance and follows park markers toward the turnaround near marker 20. Aid stations are placed at approximate half-way points for both races. The 25K has a six hour time limit and includes a bib check at the 25K turnaround; runners not through the turnaround by the stated cutoff will not receive a hot cinnamon roll at the finish. The event is cup free; participants must bring their own bottles.

The start and finish are at the edge of the lower campground. The park has camping and cabins nearby, and restroom facilities at the campground are available. The trails include creeks, mud, leaves, sticks, steep ridgelines, and a rolling pipeline section. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
