Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada
The Ultra-Trail Harricana of Canada is an international trail running event located in the Charlevoix region of Quebec. The race takes place within the UNESCO Charlevoix Biosphere Reserve, featuring courses through the boreal forest and unique landscapes shaped by an ancient meteorite impact. The event is officially sanctioned by Athlétisme Québec.
Participants can choose from a wide variety of distances designed for different experience levels:
- 125 km: A linear course of 124.3 km with 4635 m of elevation gain.
- 80 km: A 78.2 km linear course.
- 65 km: A 63.3 km linear course.
- 60 km: A 60.1 km linear course.
- 42 km Classic: A 42.7 km linear course.
- 42 km Saint-Siméon: A 42 km linear course.
- 30 km: A 31.4 km loop course.
- 20 km Night Duo or day race: A 20.1 km loop course.
- 10 km: A 10 km loop course.
- 5 km: A 5 km loop course.
- Youth races: Distances of 500 m, 1 km, and 1.5 km.
The organizers provide bus transportation to the starting lines for linear events and continuous shuttle services. The 125 km race serves as a qualifying race for the Western States 100 and UTMB.
