Ultra-Trail des Chic-Chocs : overview
The Ultra-Trail des Chic-Chocs takes place in the Chic-Chocs massif in Gaspésie, around Mont Albert and the Matane wildlife reserve. The event is the 7th edition and is scheduled for 21 to 23 August 2026. The Village UTCC is part of the event setup and the organizer is based in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.

Registration opens on 3 November 2025. Registration includes access to the Village UTCC, a podium ceremony, access to toilets and showers, on-site entertainment and personalized customer service. Medals are produced on demand; registrations made 30 days or less before the event will not receive a medal.
A fee of 35 CAD is required to register a pacer for the 170 km event. Daily SÉPAQ park access fees valued at 9.25 CAD are included in the registration for the day of the race with the race bib. All adult companions must obtain their own park access authorization; access is free for children 17 and under and for companions of people with disabilities.
The Village UTCC lists RV camping at the intersection of Route 14 and Route 299. Parking along Route 299 is prohibited; vehicles must be parked on the north side of Route 14. No vehicles are allowed between the two Village entrances or on the site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
