Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB

Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB takes place in Katoomba in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park from 14 to 17 May 2026. The event is presented as a multi-day trail running festival that attracts thousands of runners, spectators and support crew to the town and surrounding trails.

The program includes a cultural Welcome to Country and indigenous elements on course, such as the sound of the yidaki on Ironpot Ridge. The race notes encourage participants to acknowledge the traditional custodians and engage with the indigenous experience on country.
