Ultra-Trail Australia by UTMB is a multi-day trail running event held in Katoomba in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales, from 14 to 17 May 2026. The event is organised under the UTMB label and presents multiple trail race distances through world heritage listed terrain.

  • UTA100: 101 km, 4400 m+ elevation

The course runs through Blue Mountains National Park features such as cliff tops, exposed rock formations, waterfalls and native bush. The event materials reference a Welcome to Country and acknowledge the Gundungurra people, noting indigenous elements during the event including a yidaki performance on Ironpot Ridge.

A training run on the Hounslow 17 km course in the Blue Mountains National Park, following cliff-top tracks and stair descents, with three pace groups, mandatory race gear, and NPWS ECO PASS licensing.

A 25 km trail running and mountain bike event along the Oaks Fire Trail in Blue Mountains National Park, running from Woodford train station to Euroka Campground. Aid station at 12 km and finish-line food and drinks are included.

A guided trail training run in Blue Mountains National Park covering an 18 km return with steep stairs, river crossing and single track. NPWS ECO PASS licensed trainers lead three pace groups and discuss gear, nutrition and race strategy.
