Tushars Ultras

Tushars Ultras is a mountain trail running event at Eagle Point Resort in Beaver, Utah on August 1, 2026. The event offers multiple distances and staged courses that use high elevation trails on the Tushar Range.

Distances

• 100K, 63.7 miles; 16,392 feet total elevation gain; max elevation 11,356 feet.
• 70K, 45.3 miles; 11,720 feet total elevation gain; max elevation 11,356 feet.
• Marathon, 26.7 miles; 6,850 feet total elevation gain; max elevation 11,615 feet.
• Half Marathon, ~14.5 miles; 3,981 feet total elevation gain; max elevation 11,174 feet.

All courses start and finish near 10,500 feet and spend much of their distance between roughly 9,500 and 10,500 feet. The routes are described as high elevation and technical, with climbing that accounts for a large portion of each course. Aid stations are provided along the routes and some distances allow crews, pacers, and drop bags at specified locations; pacers are permitted only for the 100K and 70K events.

Required safety gear is listed for longer distances and includes a rain jacket, emergency blanket, cell phone or GPS device, whistle, reusable cup, and headlamp. Courses are marked with orange ribbons, reflective medallions, laminated signs, and color coded junction signs. Weather at high elevations can vary from warm to cold and stormy, and on-site lodging, camping, and RV options are available at the resort.
