Tupelo Trail Shuffle

Event overview

The Tupelo Trail Shuffle takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Trace State Park (2139 Faulkner Road, Belden, MS). The event offers two distances:

• 10K
• 20K

Entry fees are $45 for the 10K and $55 for the 20K. Registration closes on race day at 11:59 PM CT. A portion of the event proceeds will go to the Mississippi State Parks Fund. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance. All finishers receive a medal; a race hoodie is planned for participants, though hoodies or medals are not guaranteed for registrations completed after November 8, 2025. No refunds.

Course and logistics

The courses run mostly on single-track trails through hardwood timber and older pines, with sections along Trace State Lake. The routes include rolling hills with roughly 400 ft of elevation gain for the 10K and 900 ft for the 20K. Aid stations are located at approximately miles 4, 8, and 10 and will provide items such as chips, cookies, fruit, water, and electrolytes; participants are encouraged to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Packet pick-up occurs Friday, November 21 (4:00–7:00 PM) at Core Cycle & Outdoor, and race day packet pick-up and registration are available at the park (early morning). Packets not picked up on race day will not be mailed. Camping, RV sites, and cabins are available at the park; hotels and short-term rentals are available in the Tupelo area.
