The Treasure Coast Endurance Challenge takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Hobe Sound, Florida. Race formats and course
Distances and formats include:
- 5K trail run (3.1 miles)
- 12-24 miles for the 4-hour adventure race
- 24-48 miles for the 8-hour adventure race
- 25K (two 12.5 km loops) and 50K (four 12.5 km loops)
The 4-hour and 8-hour adventure races combine trekking or trail running, paddling, and mountain biking. Racers use pre-plotted CalTopo maps to navigate to checkpoints at natural landmarks such as trail intersections, canals, bays, and wetlands. Terrain may include single-track mountain bike trails, dirt or gravel roads, some paved roads, and flat-water kayaking or canoeing.
Logistics and awards
Adventure race categories include Solo and teams of two, three, or four. All adventure race participants must sign the USARA waiver. Aid on course includes a main aid station and at least one hydration station; aid stations are stocked with water, electrolyte drink, and snacks. The event is cupless; participants will receive a flexible folding race cup for use on course. Finishers receive a challenge coin-style medal. The 5K awards the top three male and female finishers; the 5K does not offer age-group awards. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at a nearby hotel (Courtyard by Marriott, Stuart).
