Treasure Coast Endurance Challenge

Event
The Treasure Coast Endurance Challenge takes place on November 7, 2026, in Hobe Sound, Florida, at Jonathan Dickinson State Park (16450 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455). The event includes multi-discipline adventure races that use trails and waterways within the state park. Medal and race shirt awards are planned; medals will be retrieved from a treasure chest.
Race formats and details
There are two main adventure-race formats and separate ultra options. Distances are:
- 4-hour race: 12-24 miles
- 8-hour race: 24-48 miles
- Ultra options: 25K and 50K
Both the 4-hour and 8-hour events allow Solo, Two-Person, Three-Person, and Four-Person teams. Disciplines include trekking or trail running, paddling (flat-water kayaking/canoeing), and mountain biking. Racers will navigate using pre-plotted CalTopo maps to find checkpoints placed at natural landmarks such as trail intersections, canals, bays, and wetlands. Terrain may include single-track mountain biking trails, dirt or gravel roads, and some paved roads. Entry fees listed are $90 for the 4-hour race and $100 for the 8-hour race; a kids race for ages 15 and under is offered for $40 in the 4-hour event. All participants must sign the USARA waiver.
