Traverse City Trail Running Festival

The Traverse City Trail Running Festival takes place May 8-9, 2026 in northern Michigan. Races run on singletrack and wide doubletrack trails through the Pere Marquette Forest. All events start and finish at Timber Ridge RV & Recreation Resort. The program spans a Friday evening and a Saturday schedule.

Race features and services

Registered participants receive a unisex event T-shirt and a wooden finisher medal. Post-race refreshments include beer from Shorts Brewing for those 21+ and Hop Water. Aid stations are provided along the courses, with expanded food and drink options for the 50K, 75K, and 100K distances. Finisher food differs by distance: 5K and 10K participants receive a buffet of snack options; 25K and longer distances receive a buffet plus mac and cheese and vegetarian chili.
