51st Annual North American Vasa Festival of Races
The 51st Annual North American Vasa Festival of Races takes place February 13–14, 2027, at Timber Ridge Resort, 4050 E. Hammond Road, Traverse City, Michigan. The event is a two-day festival of cross-country ski and fat tire bike races held annually on the second weekend in February since 1977. Races use the Vasa Pathway and winter singletrack trails within the Pere Marquette State Forest in Grand Traverse County, and the course receives organized grooming.
The program includes classic and freestyle ski races, fat bike events, youth competitions, and an adaptive skiers category. Several named races and distance options are offered across the weekend, including both citizen and high school divisions.
