Event Overview

The Trails To the Sky 50k/10k trail races take place on May 16, 2026, at Voorhees State Park in Glen Gardner, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The event offers two distances:

  • 50k (approximately 31 miles)
  • 10k (approximately 6.2 miles)

Course Details

The courses use trails in Voorhees State Park. The 10k route has approximately 900 feet of elevation gain. The 50k route has approximately 4500 feet of elevation gain and passes by an observatory in the park. The 50k race consists of five laps on the looped course. The trails may be muddy depending on weather conditions.

Aid and Facilities

An aid station is located at mile 3 of the loop and at the start/finish area. It provides Skratch electrolytes, Skratch chews, water, soda, fruit, and various snacks. Porta potties are available just off the course. A designated area is provided for 50k runners to set up personal belongings near the finish line. Parking is available at the venue.

Registration and Timing

Registration is available on race day via cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Bib numbers must be visible for timing, which is managed through an app. All finishers receive a custom medal.
