Trail of Parc National du Bic
The Trail of Parc National du Bic is a trail running event held at Parc National du Bic near Rimouski. It was created in 2014 by a small group to introduce trail running to runners from the Bas Saint Laurent and Gaspésie regions. The event was developed in collaboration with the national park to showcase its trails, landscapes and facilities.
The first edition had 54 runners. For the edition on October 18 2026, more than 400 runners from various regions of Quebec are expected.
The event offers several courses with different profiles and aid station setups:
- La Grande Boucle : 40 km, about 1200 m D+, three aid stations.
- La Classique : 25 km, two aid stations.
- L'Intensive : 15 km, about 620 m D+, two aid stations.
- La Populaire : 10 km, no aid station.
Some courses include passage points and time cutoffs at the last aid stations. Bib pick up is primarily at Boutique La Course A Pied in Rimouski, with a late pickup option on the park site. The main venue is Parc National du Bic. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
