The Trail du Massif du Sud 2026 is the 9th edition of an annual trail running event held on Saturday 22 August 2026 at Parc du Massif du Sud in Saint-Philémon, Chaudière-Appalaches. The park terrain is described as technical and demanding, with multiple sections of narrow, technical hiking trails and some wide gravel multifunctional tracks. The event includes participant services on site, a partner zone near the Pavillon Desjardins, and measures to reduce environmental impact (rubbish sorting and reusable-hydration guidance).

• 6 km (race) - age 12+, positive elevation +210 m, max altitude 618 m
• 6 km (walk) - age 12+, non-timed participative walk on same 6 km course
• 2 km (children) - open to children 12 and under; adult required for ages 7 and under

Registration opens 1 December 2025 and online registrations close 18 August 2026; limited day-of registration is allowed for the 2 km children, 6 km walk and 6 km race. Medals are provided free to all children finishing the 2 km and to the top three men and top three women in each race. Spectator adult access fee is $5; spectators 17 and under enter free. Parking areas P1, P2 and P3 are located near the park reception; vehicle access is restricted near the Pavillon Desjardins and attendees must walk from the reception to the pavilion.
