Trail du Massif du Sud : 9th edition
The Trail du Massif du Sud takes place on Saturday 22 August 2026 at Parc du Massif du Sud in Saint-Philémon, Chaudière-Appalaches. The event includes multiple trail races, a participatory 6 km walk, and a 2 km children’s race.
Available distances:
- 32 km : race, minimum age 16 years.
- 22 km : race, minimum age 14 years.
- 11 km : race, minimum age 14 years.
- 6 km : race, minimum age 12 years.
- 6 km walk : participatory, not timed.
- 2 km children : for children 12 and under.
The park terrain is technical. The 32 km course includes climbs of Crête des Grives, Mont Saint-Magloire and Mont Chocolat; some routes reach a maximum altitude of 917 m. Courses mix wide gravel multifunctional tracks, hiking trails that are more technical, and narrow but fluid mountain bike singletrack.
Aid stations are placed at strategic points. All children finishers receive a free medal and the top three men and top three women in each race receive medals. A post race snack is offered to participants. The Pavillon Desjardins is the central site and is located about 400 metres from the park entrance.
