Together Trail Race - Scenic Mountain Challenge

Together Trail Race is a community event at Big Spring State Park in Big Spring, Texas. The park covers about 382 acres, with a roughly 200 foot bluff and 160 to 200 feet of elevation change. The event offers both paved road and scenic mountain trail loop options.

Participants can choose from several loop distances:

• Trail 5K: 3.5 miles, one loop
• Trail 10K: 7.0 miles, two loops
• Trail 15K: 10.5 miles, three loops
• Road 4K: 2.5 miles, one loop
• Road 12K: 7.5 miles, three loops
• Road 20K: 12.5 miles, five loops
• Open Trail: timed loop open format with trail aid available

Course features include clearly marked routes, on-course support, water at the start and finish, and trail aid stations on the course. The event provides a race gift of Texas Parks Edition outdoor socks, a custom bib and finisher medal, live music, premium hydration, warm drinks, and pancakes after the event. A guided park preview and instructor led orientation are offered before race day to familiarize participants with course flow and techniques. The event partners with Tate’s Place for fundraising elements and includes volunteer opportunities.
