The WESSENDEN 27KM is a circular multi-terrain trail race in Colne Valley, West Yorkshire. Starting and finishing at Colne Valley High School in Linthwaite, the 27-kilometre route threads country lanes, woodland trails and catchwaters, offering scenic moorland sections and a largely runnable profile. It is inclusive and open to all, including hikers and LDWA, with a start option if requested and participants aged 18+. The event features feed stations, marshals, tail walkers, rescue support and prizes, with proceeds going to local primary schools as part of HUTFEST.
